Verceram modernist ceramic set
Set of 2 Verceram modernist ceramic dishes, 1950s/early 60s. An eye-catching duo made by the Paris pottery, Verceram, known for its interesting experimental designs and unusual glaze contrasts.
Intended for serving apéro nibbles, they are slightly raised, glazed in solid colour with a contrasting abstract textured design at the narrow end.
They have an asymmetrical shape with softened angles and rounded edges. They are numbered on the base without the trademark V, which came later in the company’s history.
Stylish and rare. Very few examples of this model are in circulation.
