Opalescent glass light with gilt bronze mount
A French opalescent glass light in a gilt bronze setting, late19thc – early 20thc.
The shade is in opalescent glass with textured body and deep frill. It has a heavily gilt bronze claw ceiling rose with acanthus leaves.
The mount has a hook inside to take the weight of the light.
Wired and working, it takes a bayonet light bulb or screw bulb adapter.

In very good condition. Please note, a fleabite to the edge of the frill, normally invisible when the light is in place.
