Rare Monot et Stumpf pink opalescent glass bowl. Made at the Pantin glassworks around 1900.
Hand blown in pink gorge de pigeon glass with delicate pink and orange stripes, the sides are folded into the centre.
Gorge de pigeon – literally pigeon’s throat – glass was a particular speciality of Monot et Stumpf. This is a lovely and rare example from the famous French glassworks.
