Large Verlys Les Hanots Art Deco globe light in frosted glass and chrome.
The 10″ globe is beautifully moulded with flowers. It is unsigned but almost certainly to have been made by Verlys at its Les Hanots factory in the 1930s.
It has a stylish chrome metal mount with grooved detail at the top and bottom and a hook inside for fixing to the ceiling.
Globe diameter 10 inches / 25cm
Total height 19 inches / 48cm
Rewired and takes a B27 bayonet bulb.
An unusual 1930s ceiling light in very good condition. Small, hardly perceptible impact mark near the top of the globe, see photo.
