Large Chambon et fils Limoges porcelain vase
A Chambon et fils Limoges Art Deco porcelain vase standing 17″ tall.
It is decorated with a large magpie whose tail wraps around the vase.On the other side is a song bird. The vase is glazed in a celestial bleu de four with gold trim, all intact. A very large and exceptional vase, a beautiful example of Limoges porcelain at its finest.
Signed on the base and also by the artist, ‘Goujaud’.
Léonard Chambon et fils were porcelain decorators in Limoges and opened a studio there in 1925.
