A tall Jacques Pouchain (1925-2015)pottery vase with etched decor, early 1960s.
Decorated with sgraffito motifs in a milky white enamel overlay over a Ia manganese oxide base, a technique he used from the late 1950s.
Signed ‘Atelier Dieulefit’, Pouchain’s studio, and ‘JP’ signifying it is the potter’s own work.
