A Gilbert Metenier art pottery pitcher with Arts and Crafts influence.
In stoneware, this elegant aiguière has a dimpled body, superb Arts-and-Crafts-inspired lines and a lovely glaze, pinky brown on the bottom with a rich wood-brown drip decor on the neck and handle. Unusual piece.
Ink signature underneath the jug.
