French Art Deco light by Deveau 1920s
Superb French Art Deco light by Deveau with nickel plated mount from around 1925-30.
The globe shade is in frosted glass with acid-etched design of stars and planets. It is signed in the mass: Deveau.
Deveau specialised in fine acid-etching and enamel decoration on glass, with designs that draw on nature. The studio was in Pantin, just north of Paris.
