Choisy-le-Roi Art Nouveau vase c1900.
Imposing Choisy-le-Roi Art Nouveau vase in acid etched, enamelled glass from around 1895-1900.
It has a relief decor of oriental flowers engraved in acid with hot enamelled detail, the top brushed with gold. A very heavy blown crystal vase, the polished pontil visible underneath.
Signed in script: Cristaux d’Art HT Choisy-le-Roi. H T stands for Houdaille et Triquet, which was founded in 1895.
