CAB Primavera Art Deco book ends in the shape of butterflies
A pair of CAB Primavera Art Deco butterfly book ends in anthracite and yellow from around 1930.
These limited edition book ends were made by CAB (Céramique d’Art de Bordeaux) and were designed for and sold at Primavera, the prestigious design section of the Printemps department store.
Highly decorative with geometric styling and glossy glaze, they are signed to the base and one still has its original maker’s label.
