Art Nouveau Ditmar Urbach Alienware vase
Tall Art Nouveau Alienware crackle glaze vase by the Czech pottery, Ditmar Urbach The vase is decorated in a honey-coloured lustre glaze veined in red with flashes of green near the base. The top and bottom panels have a burnished bronze glaze and stylised leaf and floral motifs, typical of Arts and Crafts/Jugenstil/Art Nouveau style. However what really sets this vase apart is its distinctive architectural form, accentuated by the contrasting glazes.
