A magnificent Art Deco panther sculpture by Louis-Albert Carvin (1875-1951), circa 1930.
In sleek spelter, the sculpture captures the rangy power and movement of the cat. Louis Carvin was an important Art Deco animalier sculptor in the Art Deco period.
It is set on a black onyx base. Signed L. Carvin in one corner.

In well-preserved condition normal signs of age, mini scratches, some micro-chips on the onyx base, barely visible.
