Art Deco enamelled glass vase by Michel, Nancy. In the style of l’École de Nancy and from around 1920.
Beautifully hand enamelled with finely etched detail, the vase features a windmill landscape with a figure in the foreground. The decor continues all around the vase to the river and a waiting boat.
The glass is graduated in colour from pale green to deep absinthe green at the top.
Signed at the base Michel, Nancy, probably for J. Michel who was active in the early Art Deco years. A lovely piece for a collection.
