Antique novelty jewellery box in the shape of a chair
Unusual antique novelty jewel box in shape of a miniature armchair, French or Italian, c1870.
It is in bronze with baroque moulding, lacquered gold on the outside and with its original pink silk upholstery inside.
The seat of the chair lifts to reveal a space for a ring, necklace or item of your choice. (Necklace not included in the sale.)
Perfect charming and in good condition. The silk has thinned and is very delicate but retains much of its original colour.
