Art Deco Limoges tête-à-tête tea set
Elegant Art Deco Limoges tea set for two, made in Limoges around 1920.
In translucent white porcelain with etched gold and French navy border. The set comprises 2 cups and saucers, a hot water jug, a milk jug and an open sugar bowl. It is signed B.R. Limoges France. It is likely that B.R. was one of the many decorating studios that existed at the height of the industry’s success before the Great Depression.
The tea cups are wide and shapely with a diameter of 5 inches / 12cm. The saucers measure Saucers 6.5 inches / 17cm. The jugs are 5 inches and 3.5 inches high respectively.
A timeless ensemble in excellent condition.
