André Delatte Art Deco berluze vase
An André Delatte French Art Deco ‘berluze’ vase in orange and mauve blown glass, c1925.
It has a long neck and flat sided body, with a marbled decor achieved by vitrifying enamel powders.
Delatte found early success with these vases, produced in a variety of sizes and colour combinations at his Verrerie de l’Est glassworks in Nancy.
