Small beaten copper jardiniere, 19thc
A small beaten copper planter or jardiniere made by an unknown craftsman with a dovetail seams, a cast iron handle, roll top, copper rivets and a rounded bottom.
Sourced in south west France, it may have had any number of uses around the farm or smallholding. Its size makes it unusual and adds to its charm.
In very good condition, one small dent, no repairs and a warm patina of age.
