A blue and white Chinoiserie sauce boat by the great Bordeaux faiencerie of Johnston et Bordeaux.
The pattern is ‘Tonkin’ – scarce – and this sauce boat, delightfully shaped as miniature tureen, is particularly rare.

In excellent condition with no damage or restoration, only an unglazed straw mark underneath, from when it was made.
