A delicious Jean Dessès picture scarf in crisp twill. 1950s.
It’s in dark, very dark green and yellow/gold. There’s something very nostalgic about the central scene of an artist sketching a ruined castle.
Plump hand rolled hems. Measures 30½ inches / 77 cm square.
Rare and in very good condition for its age. Small watery stain along one edge (see pictures),, fold line just visible in the middle. But then, who doesn’t have a wrinkle or two when they pass 60?
