French Art Deco embroidered handbag with sunburst design
A delicious French Art Deco handbag with an embroidered geometric sunburst design and lucite handle. Circa 1930.
It has a chunky wood-look frame handle with two clasps at the side. It’s lined with beige silk and pink ruffles. Though simply executed, the sunburst design (echoes of Sonia Delaunay) couldn’t be much more Art Deco. A very stylish addition to any vintage purse collection.
