Antique brass altar candlesticks
Two antique brass altar candlesticks, Made in France around the 1900s. We are selling them as a set.
These are smaller candle holders, still heavy but perhaps used in chapels or for travelling communions. They have three feet with spirals at the base and a spike for the candle. The smaller holder has beaded ornementation and takes a slender communion candlestick. The taller candlestick can take a normal to wider size candle and is soberly decorated.
Respective height : 11 inches / 28cm and 7 inches / 18cm, not including the spike.
Both are solidly crafted and have an attractive patina of age.
