The vase is painted with an autumnal scene of trees and a winding path. Signed Peynaud on the side.
Mignonette vases were decorative objects intended purely for display and are a capsule-sized demonstration of the makerr’s artistry. Peynaud, Bordeaux was a noted producer of these miniature works of art.
This one stands just 3 ½ inches / 9cm tall.
