Pair Pierre D’Avesn Art Deco vases c1930
A pair of Pierre D’Avesn Art Deco vases from around 1930.
They are in part-crystal pewter-coloured glass with scrolled handles. The body of the vase are decorated have deep engraved banding. Believed to be made by Daum, one of many great French glassmakers D’Avesn designed for. It’s rare to find a matching pair.

Width 23cm/ 9 inches
The vases are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. They have some straw marks from manufacture, which is typical of moulded pieces with a high crystal content made during this period.
