Muller Freres sconces wall lights 1900s
A pair of Muller Frères sconces with gilt bronze or solid brass mounts and “pate-de-verre” lampshades. They date to the early years of the 20th century.
The beautiful mounts are decorated with a ram’s head and foliage (left and right). The shades are in mottled ‘marmorean’ glass and both have the acid-stencilled mark “Muller Fres Luneville”. Typically, the shades have slight variations in colour (they are from the same batch and are original to the sconces).
