Midcentury Modern French glass light fixture

This is a fantastic midcentury modern french ceiling light fixture.
It’s in opaline glass with black freehand decoration.
The inside of the shade is cased with bright white glass, which gives the black lines a floaty appearance.
The shade is open at the top and at bottom, and the suspension is passed through the middle until it sits on the fitting. Inside, it has a brown bakelite lightbulb holder fitted for a narrow bayonet bulb, which you could, of course, replace if you wanted to.
