Stamped with the maker’s mark on the back of the bracelet.

Jean Painlevé
Actor, film director, composer, militant, biologist… Jean Painlevé (1902-1989) is best known for his films on marine-life – and the unusual range of jewellery that he developed alongside it. Painlevé jewels – mostly, but not exclusively, with his beloved seahorses – was sold from a chic shop in Paris.
