Claude Levy for Primavera Art Deco craquelure elephant bookends
A pair of extremely rare Art Deco bookends designed by Claude Levy for Primavera in 1925.
In the same year, Mlle Levy’s work was shown at the Paris Exposition des Arts Décoratifs, where she won a gold medal.
In white craquelure enamel glaze, these handsome elephants were made at the Sainte-Radegonde factory, whose trademark appears underneath.
