The central vasque and tulips are made of thick, blown pate-de-verre glass with beautiful white and pink gradations of colour. The suspension is in gilded brass.
The glass has an acid etched signature: SCHNEIDER. (This was the signature used for the company’s premium range of glass and was considered superior to “le Verre Français”).

Tulips 15 cm / 6 inches long
Ceiling drop 62 cm / 24 ½ inches

Rare Daum Nancy Art Deco vase dating to around 1920.
It is made of thick glass in mottled shades of moss green, turquoise and white, but it qualifies as a miniature or mignonette, since it stands just 4 inches (10 cm high).
A lovely piece for a cabinet of curios.
On one side, it is etched with the Daum Nancy signature and the cross of Lorraine.
It’s in excellent condition, perfect, and with micro-abrasions on the base as you’d expect from this small, but surprisingly heavy piece (225g).
