Pair of Antique French Hautin et Boulenger faience plates featuring English landmarks

A pretty pair of antique Choisy-le-Roi French faience plates from around 1890.

We don’t often ‘do’ plates, but we couldn’t resist these. They feature British landmarks: the Forth Bridge, Edinburgh and Dovedale, a famous beauty spot in England’s peak district. The series also included French landmarks and chateaux.

They are stamped on the back with the company’s trademark for Hautin et Boulanger, Choisy-le-Roi.

9 inches diameter.

In lovely display condition with some crazing.
